CHAPELLE SAINT PANCRACE DE PIETRA DI VERDE

Located in the heights of the village, this Roman chapel from the XI or XII century was built using materials taken from the ruins of the San Benedetto du Cavo abbey, which was its replica. UIt is decorated with a cross, arcades and even a mule. Saint-Pancrace, a symbol of purity and innocence and the patron saint of shepherds in Corsica is honoured with great fervour on 12th May at Pietra di Verde.
