LAC D'ALESANI

The U Bussu River is 25km long and has its source at the commune of Piobetta, emptying out into the Tyrrhenian Sea at the commune of San Giuliano. This river fills a dam that holds 11million cubic metres of water and which was constructed in 1964 to provide irrigation for the plain. Beautiful views of both the sea and the mountains from Chjatra di Verde and Petra di Verde. Swimming is not permitted.
