GRAND ROCHER TOZZA

This great rocky outcrop, 22m high, overlooking the village of Pietra di Verde, provides an authentic and unmistakable icon for the Oriente. Théodore de Neuhoff stayed for a day and night in the large house with character that sits on the outcrop, before he was crowned at the convent of Alesani. The viewpoint, in between the sea and the mountains, is splendid and ruins from the feudal era are still visibles.
