EGLISE BAROQUE SAINT SIMEON DE MOÏTA

Located in the centre of the village, this Baroque church houses some valuable objects, such as: a tableau from the XVII century: The Decapitation of Saint-Paul (object listed MH on 09/02/95) a tableau from XVII century: The Beheading of St John the Baptist (object listed MH on 09/02/95). A wooden gold-plated statue of Sainte-Anne. A marble statue of Saint-Antoine probably taken from the Franciscan convent of Saint François in Matra. The belfry: probably constructed by the artist Baina, the first 2 floors of the belfry are replicas of the one at the village of La Porta. Baina, who died during construction, and so the final floor was built in a different style by another artist.
